Singenuity tends to charges a 4% booking fee on activities. Although they don't charge a fee on merchandise, for most businesses the activities represent 80-90% of their revenue. The credit card processing is through square which depends on if the transaction is online or in person.
High Trek POS charges you the merchant a percentage of your revenue based on your total annual volume and these rates range from 1% to 2%. For credit card processing, High Trek POS has negotiated Interchange Plus credit card rates that average around 2.5% effective rate. We also give you the option to pass a portion or all of these fees on to your customer. Generally, we recomend passing on 2-4% along to the customer, but that is your decision.
Both Singenuity and High Trek POS support gate admission, dated admission, and time-based ticketing, with options to control capacity, set minimum and maximum purchase quantities, and offer add-ons. However, High Trek POS provides more advanced resource and capacity management, including support for complex packages that can consume four to five different resources.
For example, consider a business with three activities that wants to sell a combo ticket where Activity A starts at 11:00am, Activity B begins one hour later, and Activity C begins two hours after the original start time. High Trek POS can manage this scenario by verifying that all required resources are available at the exact times they are needed. If Activity B were sold out at 12:00pm, the 11:00am combo ticket would not be offered.
This is just one example of how High Trek POS delivers more sophisticated resource management. Other use cases include birthday party arrival throttling, flexible capacity assignments, reservations outside normal business hours, and more.
Singenuity can only offer simple merchandise type items as an addon during online checkout. High Trek POS can offer simple items as well as addons of other event and activity offerings. For example if you are an axe throwing venue, after a customer adds a axe lane rental to their cart for a specific time, High Trek POS allows you to offer the customer other activities like VR or Laser Tag at the start time after their axe throwing event concludes. The addon system is intellegent and will only offer the customer these upsells in the case that their is availability of those desired activities after their event. Another use case that can only be handled by High Trek POS would be offering a whole pizza to be added to the party ONLY if the customer is booking at least 3 days in advance. The addon system can be programmed to ensure that if the reservation is made inside the advanced booking requirement, the upsell will not be offered. These are just a few examples of the superior addon capabilities.
Singenuity released season pass membership functionality in December 2025 and the functionality is new and limited in capabilities. Singenuity DOES NOT have monthly subscription capabilities. High Trek POS has been operating memberships since 2017 and has a proven robust membership capability allowing for events, entitlements, member specific discounts, member online booking portal, self-serivice membership renewals, self-service membership setup, google & apple wallet membership cards, photo verification, and many more capabilities. High Trek POS also offers options for monthly recurring subscriptions and monthly installment payments for large value purchases.
High Trek's Platform allows you to create custom lead forms, define workflow statuses, and manage your sales pipline. You can communicate regarding event details and generate Custom Quotations for each customer event that can provisionally hold capacity on your reservation calendar. The system will allow you to specify a deposit amount that is required to convert the Reservation to a permanent hold on your resources. These tools keep all of your information in one place and have proven to create urgency and significantly increase conversion rates with group event inquiries at the same time requiring less effort from staff.
High Trek POS has integrated with Quickbooks Online & Quickbooks Desktop. The system allows clients to sync their QB chart of accounts and map the income accounts to products as well as map system level accounts to financial features like cash deposits, gift card liabilities, discounts, deferred revenue, sales tax, and refunds. This integration will handle 100% of the balance sheet and profit & loss recording necessary from the platform. It will generate one Journal entry per day and eliminate manual entry completely. This feature saves our clients time and money on bookkeepers and CPA's.
