The Flybook tends to charge customers per ticket fee so the percentage will vary based on the value of your ticket.
High Trek POS charges you the merchant a percentage of your revenue based on your total annual volume and these rates range from 1% to 2%. For credit card processing, High Trek POS has negotiated Interchange Plus credit card rates that average around 2.5% effective rate. We also give you the option to pass a portion or all of these fees on to your customer. Generally, we recomend passing on 2-4% along to the customer, but that is your decision.

Online Booking & Scheduling

Both The Flybook and High Trek POS provide gate admission, date admission, and time based tickets with many options to restrict the capacity of tickets sold, minimum & maximum purchased tickets, and addon options. However, High Trek POS has more advance resource and capacity controls as well as the ability to do complex packages that can consume 4-5 different resources. For example, if you have a business that has 3 different activities and you wanted to make a combo ticket that would provide activity A at 11am, activity B to start 1 hour later, and activity C to start 2 hours after the original start time. HTPOS can handle this scenario and check all of the resources are available at the time when they are going to be needed. In this example if Activity B was sold out at 12pm then the combo ticket would not be available at 11am. This is just one example of a use case that demonstrates the more advanced resource capabilities available in High Trek POS. Other use cases include birthday party arrival throttling, Flex Capacity Assignments, reservations outside business hours, and much more.

Point of Sale Capabilities

The Flybook does have some basic Point of Sale capabilities, but they are not tightly integrated with the activities. The POS was added after and the products and sales of the POS are handled as different types of transactions and are cumbersome. High Trek POS offers full Point of Sale capabilities including barcode/UPC scanning, cash drawers & cash management, P2PE credit card terminals, inventory management, and food & beverage ordering. We provide one system that can handle ALL of your transactions limiting training, simplifying accounting, and allowing gift cards to be used for events and acivities as well as the purchase of snacks and gift shop items. The reporting is all together and the POS was architected from the launch of the software platform resulting in a more user friendly and powerful Point of Sale experience.

Quickbooks Integeration

High Trek POS has integrated with Quickbooks Online & Quickbooks Desktop. The system allows clients to sync their QB chart of accounts and map the income accounts to products as well as map system level accounts to financial features like cash deposits, gift card liabilities, discounts, deferred revenue, sales tax, and refunds. This integration will handle 100% of the balance sheet and profit & loss recording necessary from the platform. It will generate one Journal entry per day and eliminate manual entry completely. This feature saves our clients time and money on bookkeepers and CPA's.

Leads Management & Quotation Tools

High Trek's Platform allows you to create custom lead forms, define workflow statuses, and manage your sales pipline. You can communicate regarding event details and generate Custom Quotations for each customer event that can provisionally hold capacity on your reservation calendar. The system will allow you to specify a deposit amount that is required to convert the Reservation to a permanent hold on your resources. These tools keep all of your information in one place and have proven to create urgency and significantly increase conversion rates with group event inquiries at the same time requiring less effort from staff.
